I’ve promised a post for the boys, so here it is: Ties!  How cute is it to have a little tie on your son’s (or grandson’s) bib?  What about his onesie?  His sweater?  You get the picture.  Ties can be found on almost every article of infant boy clothes.  The great thing is it looks adorable.  With all the different holiday and dress up occasions, you can keep your little man dressed up with these various “tie” tops:

From Sweetlilytutus on Etsy, we see see an appliqued tie on a onesie.  Too precious.  Etsy has LOTS of selection when it comes to “tie” onesies.

From the Uncommon Goods website, which sells handmade products, we see the tie sewn on a bib — this keeps your little guy dressed up even when he’s flingin’ peas.  And, his  shirt underneath is all clean.  He’s happy; you’re happy. 15213 zoom1 Ties on Infant Boy Clothes

From the blog Ruffles and Stuff – we see a cute little boy with what I call a ‘wireframe’ felt tie.  This site includes a tutorial on how to make this (the necktie and the shirt).  Since this is Christmas-y, it may be a fun project to start on now.

Adding a tie to your little guy’s shirt, onesie, or bib, is not a difficult task — cutting the tie shape and zigzagging around to secure it is about all it takes.  It’s a quick way to make a little one look grown up.  But for those looking to buy a handmade goodie, the good news is there’s plenty to choose from!
