Peas and carrots…
Root Vegetables… (You clever people out there could figure out how to make a design like this work for baby clothes!)
Cabbage, pumpkin, tomatoes, corn… I’d say all the designs below are neutral, except for the strawberry.
Eggplant, celery, asparagus, peppers… The picture below is not actually applique, but it’s cute, it’s food, and it does has a free tutorial from Sew, Mama, Sew, so I couldn’t help but include it!
As you can see, food can be a great embellishment on neutral clothing, especially for onesies or burp cloths.
