[Baby] Clothes Week Challenge Day 1: A Sleep Sack
I posted about it last fall: Elsie Marley’s Kids Clothes Week Challenge, which I like to rename for my purposes into Baby Clothes Week Challenge. The challenge is to work on handmade [baby] clothes for one hour a day for an entire week. It has many participants and always has some great ideas too! But what to make?? I’ve been wanting to upcycle a heavy corduroy shirt into a baby sleep sack, so that’s where I started for Day 1.
In doing some research online, Lindsay of A Cottage Home already has a great tutorial posted to upcycle a men’s dress shirt into a sleep sack.
I carefully spent only an hour working on the sleep sack today, and this is where I ended up: about 90% finished.
Tomorrow I’ll hopefully finish it up!
